The Monteverde Biological Station has been devoted, since its creation in 1989, to insure that researchers, students, and nature lovers, who treasure their interaction with the forest and its fauna, enjoy nature without depriving themselves of the amenities of a cozy mountain lodge.
- We offer two rooms for classes and diverse work with capacity for 40 people each one.
- The Station is located in the highest part of this area, between the 1400 and 1800 meters on the sea level.
- To be part of this experience in the tropical cloud forest of Costa Rica...
The Monteverde Biological Station is located at the highest point of the Tilarán Mountain Range, between 1400 and 1800 m above sea level. This elevation influences its weather, creating a microclimate with very distinctive characteristics since it is affected by the Pacific Ocean – some 80Km to the West as the crow flies.
